美國(guó)太平洋時(shí)間2017年2月6日早上8:30，AAAI 17大會(huì)開(kāi)幕式（Welcome and Opening Remarks）在舊金山Hilton Union Square酒店continental ballroom 4-6舉行。開(kāi)幕式上還宣布了新選出的AAAI Senior Member以及AAAI Fellow名單，并頒發(fā)了多個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。 

 大會(huì)組委會(huì)宣布了多項(xiàng)關(guān)于AAAI的數(shù)據(jù)：  

參會(huì)人數(shù)，AAAI 2017注冊(cè)參會(huì)人數(shù)1692人，為近年來(lái)最高； 

從歷史數(shù)據(jù)看，2013年是AAAI論文數(shù)量的一個(gè)低谷，而從這一年開(kāi)始，AAAI加快了國(guó)際化的步伐，連續(xù)4年論文連創(chuàng)新高，今年大會(huì)收到的投遞論文為2571篇，為歷史最高； 

大會(huì)發(fā)表的論文總數(shù)為639篇，錄取率為24.9%； 

從主題來(lái)看，Machine Learning毫無(wú)懸念?yuàn)Z得投遞數(shù)和錄取數(shù)的冠軍，2-5名依次是NLP、Application、Search/Planning、Vision； 

從論文標(biāo)題看，Latent、Estimation、Kernel這三個(gè)單詞出現(xiàn)率最高，其他出現(xiàn)率較高的單詞還包括：Process、Algorithms、Application、Structured、Fast、Tracking、Solving. （說(shuō)句題外話，知乎有大神總結(jié)過(guò)CV和Deep Learning類(lèi)灌水論文標(biāo)題套路，CV灌水文多用{consistent/robust/joint/regularized/generalized/discriminated/structured}) + {learning/coding/dictionary/representation} + {based/for} + 經(jīng)典保留曲目(如{image segmentation/verification/identification})，而Deep Learning灌水文多用“ deep feature for/based XXXX”。

AI君對(duì)比了一下，上述灌水詞幾乎都沒(méi)有出現(xiàn)，看來(lái)大會(huì)的論文質(zhì)量還是可以的）  

 在Keyword中出現(xiàn)頻率最高的10個(gè)單詞分別為：Data、Learning、Model、Algorithm、Methods、Proposed、Information、Network、Different；  

錄取率最高的領(lǐng)域包括：Game Theory、Search/Planning、Intefrated System Track、Uncertainly、Cognitive systems track、Vision、Comuter sustainbility track、Knowledge Representation、Machine Learning、MAS、Robotics、Application、Human、NLP； 

大會(huì)還頒發(fā)了多個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)：Deployed Application Awards獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)頒發(fā)給了“Large Scale OccupationalSkills Normalization for Online Redcruitment”和“Phase Mapper：An AIPlatform toAccelerate High Throughout Materials”，Robert S.Engelmore Memorial Award Leture頒發(fā)給了David Aha，AAAI 2016 Blue Sky Winner頒發(fā)給了“The AI Rebellion：Changing the Narrative”、“Moral Desision Making Frameworks for Artificial Intelligence”和“Getting More Out of the Exposed Structured in Constraint Programming Models of Combinatorial Problems”，杰出服務(wù)獎(jiǎng)（Distinguished Service）頒發(fā)給了Jim Hendler，AAAI/EAAI杰出教育者獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)頒發(fā)給了Sebastian Thrun、AAAI Classic Paper頒發(fā)給了Dieter Fox等人在1999年佛羅里達(dá)大會(huì)上撰寫(xiě)的“Monte Carlo Localization：Efficient Position Estimation for Mobile Roots”，F(xiàn)eigenbaum Prize頒發(fā)給了斯坦福大學(xué)的Yoav Shoham。

同時(shí)大會(huì)還宣布了三名高級(jí)會(huì)員和7位新當(dāng)選Fellow，三位高級(jí)會(huì)員是：Alessandro Cimatti、Xuelong Li（中科院）和Nathan R. Sturtevant,7名Fellow是：Ronen I. Brafman， Eduard H. Hovy, Tommi S. Jaakkola, Maurizio Lenzerini, Fangzhen Lin(香港科技大學(xué))、Dale Schurmans, Munidar P. Singh.
